The Technical Writer/Editor provides comprehensive communication support to CDC’s Training and Workforce Development Branch (TWDB) personnel, fulfilling responsibilities aligned with an optional task in Strategic Communications. This position centers on crafting and refining targeted communication strategies, developing accessible materials, and driving audience engagement for TWDB programs and learning initiatives. The Technical Writer/Editor collaborates closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure all communications are clear, consistent, and meet established standards for branding and accessibility.

The Communications Specialist is responsible for designing, creating, and overseeing visual communication strategies to support the organization’s brand identity, marketing efforts, and overall communications objectives. This role involves managing visual content across digital platforms, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with organizational messaging. This role will directly support the CHIPS Program Office Investment Office (IO).
