Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Federal Financial Analyst to provide financial support services for our federal government clients. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting data analysis, fiscal audits, managing budgets, performing cost accounting, and familiarity with management services in compliance with federal policies. The candidate should also understand business process re-engineering (BPR) and have experience with Digital Transformation and large-scale Technology implementation projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and synthesize applicable financial legislation to analyze compliance with existing normatives with special emphasis on OMB Circulars A-25 and A-123.
  • Document and analyze internal controls in financial operations as well as understanding and applying full cost accounting methodologies.
  • Perform As-Is, To-Be analysis of processes, timelines and responsibilities to document and support transition to the new environment to be in alignment with Congress, GAO, OMB, and agency-specific standards.
  • Learn fund management performance and reporting indicators and provide budget formulation, execution, and monitoring support in compliance with federal law.
  • Ability to perform cost accounting and cost allocation analyses to support internal decision-making and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, program managers and technical teams to ensure financial integrity across projects.
  • Familiarity Use federal financial systems (e.g., Momentum, Oracle, SAP, or others) to manage data, track performance, and generate reports.
  • Contribute to business development activities to grow new business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in government financial management, audit, or loan program support.
  • Prior experience performing field exams, financial due diligence, or loan servicing for public sector clients.
  • Understanding of internal controls, financial risk indicators, and credit evaluation principles.
  • Proficiency with financial management and accounting systems used in the federal environment.
  • Experience leading teams; project management experience.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal lending or financial programs (e.g., DoD, DOE, USDA, SBA, or Treasury loan programs).

Pay Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
