Overview

The Senior Human Resources Consultant will lead the development, documentation, and assessment of the HHS Office of Inspector General (OIG) HR business processes. The consultant will collaborate with HHS and GSA staff to develop a standardized, efficient hiring process.

 

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Responsibilities

  • Experience in Federal Human Resources (HR) business processes with knowledge and skill in position classification, position management, and organizational design.
  • Provides HR process services and interacts with clients at the supervisory level and/or provides HR advisory services to Federal HR policy and operations specialists.
  • May be asked to perform one or more the following tasks:
    • Review of position descriptions
    • Classification determinations and the result of desk audits
    • Develop or interpret applicable federal HR policy or guidance

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline
  • Minimum of nine (9) years of specialized experience in federal HR 
  • Experience in Federal Human Resources (HR) business processes with knowledge and skill in position classification, position management, and organizational design.
  • Must have Federal, State and/or Government consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding and experience with HR processes (Recruiting, Hiring, Security, Onboarding, etc).
  • Strong process and system mapping skills using Visio and other process mapping tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay Range

USD $130,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
