Overview

The Senior Grants Management Specialist will shall be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements.
  • Provide support to various program offices with the drafting of requirements and preparation of acquisition package materials.
  • Provide support to grantees regarding the full federal acquisition life cycle.
  • Collaborate with a variety of Program Offices to ensure that all acquisition package components are completed in a compliant manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplemental regulations; utilize all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide advice and recommendations for all elements in acquisition plans, including approaches, options, strategies, risks, contracting methods, competition, sources, cost, milestone schedule, market research, contractor invoices reviews, etc. that may impact grantees, etc.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in financial assistance management is required to aid and assist in all phases of the financial assistance management process.
  • Substitutions Authorized: Combination of education in a related field and six (6) years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

USD $130,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
