The Acquisition Consultant Level 1 is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating contract actions in support of the Bureau of Consular Affairs. The Acquisition Consultant Level I performs a variety of tasks and analyses in all phases of the acquisitions process. The Acquisition Consultant Level I provide high quality technical writing and project management advisory assistance to Contracting Officer Representatives on acquisition-related topics as appropriate. Specific processes may vary depending upon specific activities, workflows, and systems/tools governed by SOPs that typically evolve over time.
